Faith is to be awake, and to be awake is for us to think And for us to think is to be alive And I will try with every rhyme To come across like I am dying To let you know you need to try to…
Like a whole full-throated conversation? And here's why I think it works for this music podcast, because we recently just talked about physical media a few weeks ago.
That's true.
That's true.
We just talked about physical media.
So if you're not living under a rock, you know that PlayStation announced that in 2028 that they would be getting rid of physical disc, that they would be leaning more into the digital content and digital gaming,
which puts a strain.
Leaning solely into.
Solely.
Like no physical at all.
And when we say purchase, we mean lease agreement because that's basically what you're getting.
It is basically a lease agreement, and it has come off as a monopoly for PlayStation because there are no other stores that are attached to it.
And people have, like myself, have protested PlayStation this week by turning your PlayStation off, not purchasing anything from PlayStation this week.
um and i think it was really here's the thing is i think it was really purposeful because people are gonna grand theft auto comes out next week people have been waiting 15 years for this fucking game like well
like the physical versions of grand theft auto they're not even going to have discs in them are they
Not the first one.
So the reason that they pulled off, supposedly, from what Rockstar explained is that they didn't want to put physical releases out yet because they didn't want anything to leak.
They didn't want any gameplay leaked.
They didn't want any story leaked.
Right.
So they were like, everything will be downloaded.
And then a few months later, a physical copy will come out.
And if that is the answer, I love that answer.
If that's a real answer.
And the reason that I love that answer is because like so many people will ruin a game 48 hours into it.
