You just did Beartooth.

You're working on Northlane's new album now.

[laughs] You know, you just did Evanescence's new album too.

Yeah

... um, you know, with different things.

So, uh, for example, with the, with the Northlane stuff, that was, like, a very different, um, situation to, for example, uh, the Architects record or the Beartooth record.

They're all completely different, um, levels of in- of involvement-

Well, this will kind of segue into new releases, but have you seen Bam Majera, Will Ramos and more are joining Signs of the Swarm in the music video for the cover of Rob Zombie's Dragula? No, but how fucking sick is that? I know, that's going to be pretty epic.

There's also new releases from Beartooth that is happening.

I feel like we're also seeing happier metal music coming out.

I mean, I'm thinking of Beartooth and their song Free, like Caleb's thriving right now and so authentically himself and we're embracing that.

So what do you feel like? Tell me more about like the goodness that's been in your life right now.

So you're saying like stillness, is that?

Sleep Theory's star is on the rise.

Touring with bands like Shine Down, Falling in Reverse, Beartooth, Nothing More, Daughtry.

It's impressive.

Cullen was down to talk pretty much about anything from Memphis' music scene, superhero movies, Linkin Park, binging Stranger Things, alien visitation.

Like, it's better than what Present have just done.

It's better than what Beartooth have just done, whatever.

It's better than so many of these bands, but it's not a Spiritbox song where I go, "Ah, yeah, that's a song I'm really excited about."

Yeah, I'm of sort of two minds of this.

Dude, I am fantastic.

... it's a struggle.

Do you leave the band? Do you stay in the band? Obviously, you ended up forming Beartooth.

Mm-hmm.

Um, but it's fine to tidy up a note after you've hit it for, like, a half a second, whatever it is.

And I noticed this in the Beartooth album this year.

I'm like, "I love that album.

The songwriting is, writing is exceptional, but oh man, the vocals just, like, so, like, tuned and on the notes." And then I listened back to the Surface, which I loved-

Yeah.

Yeah, I think you're right.

I think as well, um, just, uh, because what you just said then sort of pricked my ears up with, um, that there's, like, this, a lot of people have an issue with that Beartooth song.

Is this called Stadiums, I think? Is that the one? Is it-
