In today's episode, we’re switching things up with an "Overrated/Underrated" style breakdown of popular fitness, nutrition, and mindset trends. From mini cuts to cold plunges to those supplements that…
One of the first ones we got was a question about supplements that are supposed to, quote unquote, help with alcohol consumption.
Seems real sus is what came through.
So I'll speak for myself.
I didn't really know a ton about these supplements.
Apothecary, that's the one that pops up for me a decent amount, or maybe we discussed it and then Big Brother started putting it on my feed because I mentioned it.
So I've been seeing a lot of that lately.
So I took a little shmedium dive.
I didn't take a deep dive, but I took one for the team and I took their quiz and just to see what they would share with me.
And so, you know, you go to their website, you can take a quiz to see what would benefit you.
And they ask, I mean, it was pretty quick, but it was somewhat thorough.
I mean, they ask about sleep and digestion and stress and how old you are.
Are you in the menopausal transition at all? Do you exercise and how often? They asked a question or two about skin.
So I was pretty truthful, but I really... went towards like the alcohol consumption because of the question so I said I need help with that I drink daily I can't remember the exact question I think how many drinks per week I think I put seven plus and then it of course asked for my email because they're not going to share it with me until they get my email so there you go it came back with a couple of things one One is called, which seems pretty popular from what I see like on Instagram and some of their affiliates that share.
One of them is called Wine Down, W-I-N-E, Down.
And the other one was called, hang on a second, I got to find it, Wine Down and Take the Edge Off.
So Wine Down says it's a red wine alternative.
take the edge off stress and tension support.
They do ask about stress, et cetera.
So that's kind of where it led me.
Each one of these is $39 if you just do a one-time purchase.
Of course, if you do like a subscribe and save, I think it knocks off like a few dollars per month, but $39.99 for like a one-month supply, 30 servings.
So that's kind of where I ended up.
It seems like when you go to their website, they tout centuries of herbal because it's herbal.
It's a lot of herbal stuff.
So they say, you know, centuries, you know, of use like it's safe.
