So the southeast corner of Nebraska.

It's Legislative District 1.

Otoe, of course, shares a border with Lancaster.

And I believe, I think you just mentioned it, you were born in Syracuse, but raised in Avoca more.

What would you want our listeners to know about Legislative District 1? Kind of talked a little bit about how active the community life is with all the parades and festivals, but what else would you want our listeners to know? It's pretty

expansive.

I think there's 2,400 square miles where we were campaigning.

I knocked on 8,200 doors personally.

There's a lot going on, a lot of good things going on in Legislative District 1.

As you might imagine, we're primarily agricultural-based, but we've got a number of manufacturing entities throughout the district.

Citronic is a biodiesel facility that's... getting ready to start up in Fall City.

We've got a fish farm in Nebraska City.

A lot of creative districts in Fall City, Auburn, and Tecumseh that are doing good things.

And then I think tourism is kind of the...

The hidden gem, and in some cases not so hidden gem, in Legislative District 1.

You can start down in the southeast corner with Indian Cave State Park.

Brownville has multiple theaters and museums.

The Falter Art Museum in Fall City.

You come up to Tecumseh and you've got the Historical Museum, the Barney Oldfield Museum.

There's a Museum of Memories in Syracuse.

And then Nebraska City has Craiglow Windmill.

They've got Lewis and Clark Visitor Center, Steinhardt Lodge, Lead Lodge, and Kimmel Orchard.
