What have you seen actually doing the job that you're like, oh, I never saw this before.

I didn't anticipate this.

When I was campaigning, I said, I hope my experience will allow me to hit the ground running as opposed to just hitting the ground, which is two different things.

But I think probably when I interviewed my staff, I had confidence that I'd know the process and the procedure well enough.

And when I interviewed, I was looking for their commitment to constituent service.

And I think probably the thing that surprised me is the volume of constituent calls and inquiries that we get.

What do you point to from these committees as innovations or just advancements you're proud of in the areas that these committees cover?
