Ep. 162: Leaving Europe for Dubai: Taxes, Truths, and Building a Future with Cintia Arnhoffer

I heard that Dubai is like Miami, but cleaner.

Yeah.

No, I've heard great things.

I mean, and I think you had mentioned on our previous conversation that it's one of the safest big cities in the world.

There's several million people there and it's a very safe, clean city.

Yeah, it's practically a crime-free country.

And it's really, you cannot really imagine that or wrap your head around it, yeah? You have to experience what does it mean to be safe.

You know, first I moved to Dubai and I got to know some girls, European girls, and they invited me to the beach in the weekend, you know? So we were four of us.

And then we put our bags on a... on a towel and everybody run into the water.

And I was standing there on the beach and like, yeah, I'm the newcomer to the groups.

I have to guard the stuff.

Sure.

Yeah.

I would, I would do the same.

I would do the same thing.

Yep.

You are

the newcomer, so you don't enjoy.

So, and I'm like, Cindy, Cindy, what are you doing? I'm like, I'm guarding the stuff.

And they started laughing.

Where did you move to Dubai? I'm like, two weeks ago.

Oh, you don't have to guard your stuff.

So, Our wallets, phones, laptops, car keys, we just leave it on the towel.

We go, you know, take an ice cream, take coffee.

We take a walk on the shore.
