Private Eyes duo Priestley & Sampson head for The Coast

gumshoes.

Listen, guys, congrats on Privatized West Coast.

I watched the first episode and really, really liked it.

And, you know, I've always loved this series and been happy to wave the flag.

So exciting that it's back and that it's so fun and handsome looking.

And so congrats.

You must be having a ball.

We are, yeah.

Last summer, being on Vancouver Island, it was like adult summer camp for us.

We had a great time, and revisiting the characters of Shave Nanji just felt like putting on an old pair of slippers.

It was very comfortable.

and we had a great time.

I was going to ask how many seconds it took to get back under the skin of these two.

Five, ten, how many?

Five seconds.

Five

seconds.

I was so nervous about that, actually, of what it would be, this new series, and it really was like no time had passed at all.

It was like one minute, and we were Shade and Angie exactly the same, but better.

Yeah.

Yeah, exactly.

But better.

And as much as the show feels familiar, and please tell me what you think after watching the first episode, but it also feels very fresh and very new.

And Shade and Angie are sort of wrestling with different things now.

Parenting, cohabiting, being in a relationship, working with your spouse, all that stuff.
