Which, of course, we lost, and it was... by all accounts, both at the time and since, just about the worst game of the season, I suppose, possibly equalled by the last hour of the Manchester United game.
But yes, I mean, you've been watching the games, obviously, on TV and so on and so forth.
So overall, what's your take on it? Because we finished eighth for the second consecutive season under Fabian.
This time it meant Europe, even though we had less points, which was a bit weird.
But aside from that, all things considered, an interesting Premier League season in terms of the table as a whole.
And our part within it was good enough to get Europe, which we're obviously delighted with.
The thought I've had in the last few days or week or so is that I'm not sure if it was a really good competitive season.
And clearly there was a lot of... teams very evenly matched by arguably the bottom two and the top two sort of throughout the league or whether it was actually very much a sub-season and just that Arsenal and Man City were a cut above the rest and Burnley and Wolves were a cut below them um and i'm not i think the jury in my mind is out on that whether it was just
to actually get eight points less finish in the same position but actually qualify for europe this time where we didn't last year seems bizarre um for the least and looking at some of the stats on the positive side we've got 10 clean sheets um And the defence was the third best in the league.
And that was in spite of the 3-0 loss against Manchester United in the final game of the season.
And the next best team, I think it was Sunderland or somebody who had conceded 48 goals to our 46.
Man City, I think somewhere around 36, 37 conceded and Arsenal, I think just under 30.
