Electric Sheep CityHostSo last week, I was not on the episode, but Shmoopy Daddy and Electric Sheep City discussed the fact that a classic deck, Pirate Warrior, was and is back.
But now it's been a little bit.
There's been people experimenting.
What cards are good? What cards are bad? Where are we at? What is good? What is bad? Shmoopy Daddy, would you like to take it away?

I'll just like just do some generic stuff and then sort of let blue train kind of run with it.

And part of recording that meta report was a pretty hefty section on like just looking at what cards may or may not be good in Pirate Warrior.

And I'm not the best person at looking at HS Guru stats, but I think people like Corvette or Filterphobe are much better at it than me.

But I like to do it a little bit, especially because there's some really interesting things going on with Pirate Warrior and uniquely for a deck.

It hasn't been around for very long, but it is like immediately became one of the more popular decks in the format period and is looking very effective at low MMR and looking to hold its own at high MMR.

where to the point where we actually have a significant portion of data on the deck itself on individual cards in the deck itself, but not a refined solidified list.

lists at 1k um you know 1k and rank 1k and above conveniently there was only one list i looked at what cards were underperforming statistically in the archetype as a whole within that list and made some substitutions based off of that um data that i went through and i kind of put it out there and said i haven't played a single game of this Have fun.

And Blue Train was actually somebody who reached out and was just like, hey, I'm going to play a bunch of this.

And so really from there, I would love to hear Hydra, whatever you want to hop in.

And I saw you move, so I wasn't sure if you wanted to hop in and add to that.

It's great that we got Blue Train on because Blue Train has some concrete thoughts having played the deck as far as how it pilots.
