British Columbia Highway 3

You should plan five to seven days for a route connecting Hope, Princeton, Osoyoos, Oliver, Penticton, and Kelowna, with a return toward Hope via Highway 97C and Highway 5.

The scenic approach along Highway 3 passes through Manning Park and the Similkameen Valley, while Highway 97 takes you north through Okanagan's lakeside communities, orchards, and wine regions.

The main highways connect established towns with fuel, groceries, and a range of private and provincial campgrounds.

But Highway 3 has mountain grades and winding sections that deserve extra care when towing.

Summer brings warm lake days and busy campgrounds, while late summer and early fall are excellent for orchard harvests and vineyard scenery.
