#197 The Fraser Era Begins | Round 23 Review

Anyway, yes, we've got a lot to talk about the Blues.

Hey.

We're not going to talk about the game yet.

We will, but there's a bigger piece that we need to talk about that obviously went down today.

It's good timing that we're doing the pot on a Tuesday this week because we wouldn't have spoken about this on Sunday.

Josh Fraser is officially the head coach of the Carlton Football Club going forward.

It's a three-year contract.

Sees him out to the end of 2030.

Mm-hmm.

So this year doesn't even count.

So it's really three and a half to four years that we're going to have him at the helm.

And I think it's the right call for me.

I mean, we'll talk about it a bit now.

You can give your thoughts.

I know we spoke a little bit today.

But just your first, your thoughts on the appointment in itself.

Listen, I think it's well-deserved.

I think he's proven enough over the, what, 13, 14 weeks? From what you heard from Priestley and Wright, I think, listen, Wright is just doing this at the Carlton Football Club at the moment.

And he's just putting pieces where he needs to and he's just trusting him.

I think Fraze, like I said, the more that he talks and the more we see of him, it impresses us.

I like his transparency.

I think his transparency is important.

That's good.

I think it's very important because I don't think we've had that from a coach.

Yep.
