Marcus Bontempelli

It's, it's ridiculous.

When you're talking about Bontempelli's been the best for the last eight to ten years, and he's, he's averaging one fifteen to one twenty, I think, somewhere in there.

So i- it's off the charts.

...um, sharks, which, which happens every week, and we, we'd like to think we do that to opposition teams as well, and we felt we were able to force the scramble in there enough times to be able to at least halve that contest and get it going our way, and Bontempelli, uh, Richards and, and Fraser were, were too good at ground level and, and made us pay.

So, um, you know, part of it is if we're able to force that scramble game where it's not a clean exit for them and we're able to get it back on our terms, we need to be able to make sure we at least win our fair share of them, if not halve those contests and, and too many times last week we were able to get, give it back to them, and they went inside deep and put our backs under pressure, particularly in that third quarter.

So, um, yeah, we're gonna try and arrest that as best we can tomorrow night.

Yeah, Rankin brings that extra dimension to the Adelaide midfield, and there's a pretty strong argument, you give me out a case, that he's been the best player in the competition for the last six weeks or so.

And the other one, Ken, that I like, particularly against Bontempelli, and he spent some time on him, just bringing Dan Curtin inside as well with his size, and he's a difficult match-up, so that's added to their midfield mix as well.

But, you know, they're an honest team, Adelaide.

They bring their contest, they bring pressure.
