In fact, entrepreneurs, statistically speaking, it doesn't come off, but I just don't remember the exact statistics, but From a probability standpoint, they are significantly higher than the general population for having some type of mental health issue.
Of course, I never thought that issue would ever happen to me, but when you're a business owner, the highs are really high and the lows are really, really low.
And that's when you become a little more vulnerable and susceptible to some of those dark moments.
So today I wanted to introduce you to a gentleman that I've gotten to know over quite some time, successful in his own right.
And it's a book for founders and CEOs, also those executives that have built something that is successful and looks successful on the surface.
But as the stress piles on and whatnot, it just becomes increasingly harder to hold it all together as a person, as a human, as the company continues to grow.
I think the point of today's show, if nothing else, is to let you know if you've wrestled with any of these thoughts, you're not alone.
