493|Warning Signs…

I understand you have a case you wanna talk to us about today.

So where were you in your career when this case came to you, or what was happening in your world?

I was a patrolman.

Okay.

And I started off working the midnight shift.

And, uh, one of, um, my former sergeants, um, we were dri- driving down this road, and I don't know if you are familiar with the town of Bedford.

It's unique.

Um-

How is it unique?

Well, it borders five different towns, one of them being Manchester, New Hampshire, which is the largest city in the state.

Um, we've had some prolific cases come out of that.

Um, it, it, the town itself is very, very affluent.

Hmm.

So in the outskirts, I would say it runs the gamut of social class.

So you, you're responding to all different types of, of calls.

Hmm.

And, uh, you know, we used to make a joke of more, more money, more problems.

[laughs] Can be true.

Um, but in, i- in the outskirts, the hub of the town is very affluent.

You, it...

A lot of the residents are surgeons, doctors, uh, entrepreneurs-

Hmm

... finance people.

Um, but w- w-

Where there's money, there's trouble.
