Scott LancasterGuestDustyHostBradHostAnd so many of the more larger brands, so much of the money you're giving to them is going to advertising, and it's going to the corporate structure, the shareholders.
And Dusty and I are both into bourbons, or beers.
Before that, it was beers.
Yeah.
The more independent, the more craft you get, it just opens your eyes to see what's actually available.
I mean, that's exactly what I was going to talk about.
I think the thing we can notice here is something like a micro watch brand is very similar to an independent jewelry store.
Or like we said, the craft distilleries that do bourbon is...
I think people are starting to notice in general, but with the watch brands, we're all starting to figure out.
We're paying for marketing.
And I think this is where micro bands, brands, and independent jewelry stores are beginning to...
I think we're entering like...
Yeah.
Right.
And it's like – and people are amazed that we can compete with them.
I'm like, yes, because they have a different level of overhead to maintain than we do.
And so I'm starting to see that correlation just talking with you, Scott.
Like the micro bands are the same thing.
It's like, hey, we're – the quality of the watch is the same, but we're doing it at – a third of the fraction of the price and you still get that and and maybe with even more um intentionality and more detail and more definitely and so i think it's a cool thing for the industry as a whole because the watch and jewelry industry sometimes are they're they're always connected in some way yep even though they are two separate you know worlds to some degree But I think it is a, and you talking about, you know, kind of building your watch brand, I think is the future of watches.
And I think that's why custom jewelry is such a big part of a jewelry store's business.
And our business is because people want to be part of the process.
And they want to see what you can do when you take your time and create something that is meant to celebrate a moment.
Like you said, like the birth of your son or a promotion or fill in the blank.
I mean, all this stuff is just connected to which we talk about on the show all the time.
It's connected to it's connected to people and it's connected to memories.
