England THRASH India | Moeen & Rash React.

Um, Mo, general takeaways.

We spoke after the first game.

Uh, what were your general takeaways from this one?

Uh, I think it was the worst performance by India in England for probably as long as I can remember.

Um, as far as I can remember, like, I, I just...

It was a shocking performance, uh, really.

Uh, I think with the ball for-- and in the field.

Uh, you know, the fielding for me is the big thing that it tells you where the, where the team is at.

I think-- I, I don't think they're, like, athletic enough at the minute.

Some of them, not all of them, obviously.

But it's like they're missing that sort of, um...

I don't know, but they used to have this, like, they had Jadeja, Raina, Kohli.

You know, that was like, they were all, like, cover point, mid off, whatever it was.

But it was always, it always felt like, you know.

Even in recent times, like, you got Hardik, Surya, these guys.

I just don't know, for the first time in this series, and I noticed it last game and this game, I just feel like in the field particular, they just don't look athletic enough.

They don't look fit enough.

I don't know, fit as in, not fit as in stamina-wise, but just, uh, they look a bit slow to me.

Um, bit off the pace, and I'm not surprised now that Ireland beat them 2-0.

Mm-hmm.

And I'm not surprised England are 2-0 up.

I, I think they will come back stronger, don't get me wrong, but I think there's a lot going on in the Indian team at the minute.

With obviously new captain, um, many, many left-handers, which I think is an issue.

Um, and just balance generally is, is a little bit off and, uh, and I know I mentioned this the last time, the impact player makes a big difference in the IPL compared to this.

And I think the batters are lo- have lost that art of batting in T20 cricket.
