And I couldn't imagine a more perfect tea for today's conversation because joy begins with compassion and not only for others, but for ourselves.
And sometimes we forget about that when we aren't feeling well, we forget the compassion needs to come our way.
And also we're trying to navigate a lot of extra influences as appointments and sessions and treatments and all those kinds of things.
It's really hard to come back and be compassionate and sit with ourselves and send the love back inside that we're trying to nurture from the outside.
And so both of us with the strawberries, spiritually, well, we all know strawberries are in the shape of a heart.
And when you cut them in half, you can get these most amazing heart shapes.
And this is an opportunity to reconnect with childlike wonder, gratitude, playfulness, and the sweetness already present in our lives.
And strawberries will ask us, what if today is already enough? And so often we get to the end of day and we didn't do enough.
And so we feel guilty or we feel bad or we feel anxious because we didn't solve everything or get everything done and the to-do list was so long.
It nourishes deeply while reminding us that true strength grows quietly over time.
And its spiritual essence is one of grounded vitality, not about surviving, but flourishing.
Moringa can gently ask, how are you nurturing the life you want to live? And sometimes we're trying to nurture the life we're living, but it's not exactly where we want to be.
