A game in which, well, to be as easily simple as I can be, the ball went in the hoop a lot.

Rhyne Howard, Angel Reese, Bree Jones, Jordan Canada with incredible nights for Atlanta.

And then on the other, other side, Marina Mabrey, once again, even in a loss, with a 34-point performance.

They actually won the third and fourth quarter by just a point, but it was that 30-point barrage in the second, a 13-point advantage for Atlanta, that made all of the difference in this one.

So the three big takeaways from this matchup can really be easily summarized as follows.

The Tempo, as people have now learned heading into the trade deadline, were looking to offload picks to try and get another star, to try and push at least some of the chips in right now.

[buzzer blaring] But it might be the final buzzer on the Tempo's playoff dreams.

The saxophones have gotten louder, and now the commentators are saying, "You need to get off the arena." With all of that said, Marina Mabrey was still excellent.

My first time seeing Niarra Sabally in person since she played at the University of Oregon, and I have to say, it was not only really heartening to see a player that dealt with so many injuries all the way through her career in Eugene actually play full speed, full physicality in the W, but also somebody who finished with 12 points, 12 boards, and looks like they are developing nicely into a legitimate piece for Toronto.

Little less so excited about this Tempo team, even though Kiki Rice was excellent.

More on her in a sec, but let's talk about the victors, obviously, the Atlanta Dream.
