Kenny Brooks

If something were to happen here, you really think Kentucky would be cursed.

Can Kenny Brooks rappel from the ceiling or something, Shannon? Can we channel our inner Matthew Mitchell at all in this?

See, I don't know if you can recreate the Matthew Mitchell thing because then if you try to get Kenny Brooks to come out and do a dance, it just feels like it's an imitation of Matthew Mitchell, right? Sure.

So

you've got to

I'll tell you what though, right on our heels.

And you may not know this about me, But I'm a huge, huge Kenny Brooks advocate.

I think the women's sports on campus right now, UK, they're all just popping off, except for, I guess, softball.

Not great.

So you

talked about Coach Kenny Brooks.

I would love for you to kind of talk to us about how you were at Virginia Tech and you followed him to Kentucky.

But what is it about him and the culture that he creates that helps you and the rest of your team thrive as players?

So, like, that's major.

Like, I mean, that's up there with the UCLA who had, what, five or six, you know? And so he's really doing some great things.

I'm a huge Kenny Brooks fan.

He doesn't know that, but you can tell him.
