Back to... Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters (2013)

All right, well, let's flashback to 2011, the year that I graduated high school, and when the sequel was confirmed to be coming out.

Although the first movie wasn't a huge hit.

I mean, we talked about its box office receipts as like, let me look at it.

So they'd be like $200 million to 26.

And it was cost $98.95 to make.

So barely enough to be like, yeah, let's make a sequel and hopefully things will change.

Things did not change.

In fact, I think they did not learn any other lessons from the first movie.

Despite this being like an entirely new, mostly new cast

and people behind the camera.

But yes, as I alluded to before, Thor Frudenfall hired to direct this one.

I rescind my earlier comments just because he has the name Thor.

He's not Scandinavian.

He's German.

But close enough.

white anglo-saxons they're all the same

yep and you know those white anglo-saxons uh just like him directed movies like hotel for dogs and diary i wouldn't be kid before this

oh great

yeah uh hotel for dogs is that his best movie discuss

isn't that at least an emma roberts movie

Yeah, it's like Emma Roberts from her Nickelodeon era.

Yeah.

And Don Cheadle before he was Rhodey.

And dogs.

And dogs.
