I mean, it was bad enough that, like, we got rid of cable after Batwoman was canceled because I was like, I don't want to watch any of this shit anymore.

It was just, like, it felt like such a betrayal that, you know, you finally have a show where there are queer leads, there are people of color leads, and it's, like, doing so well writing-wise because I feel like... season three of batwoman i put up against like any other season of any of the air of our shows and i feel like it held its own and so for it just to be cancelled after that was such a slap in the face of like all of those actors who put so much hard work into that and really only got two seasons because you know the first season was basically a wash um and i did feel that way about legends of tomorrow to a lesser extent because it did it did get some of its flowers but there was still like I remember there was, like, a tweet from Mark Guggenheim where there was Legends was on a list of, like, the best TV shows of the year.

And, like, The Handmaid's Tale was also on it.

And he's like, oh, I don't agree that Legends is better than The Handmaid's Tale.

social media very very well yeah and shout out to the creators like philip kennedy johnson scott snyder timothy zahn um philip philip kennedy johnson scott snyder dennis camp timothy zahn mark guggenheim there's so much creators that we're still gonna publish out like juan ferreira gavin smith like we create we talked to so much legendary creators so much good creators and also they're really nice like philip kennedy johnson constantly reshares our stuff now it's like um you know like i dm'd him last night because he put like a issue two of midnight spider-man's cover up and i was like oh that's fire and he liked that and like you know so that was just like it's really cool to be able to be able to be within earshot you know um because you guys are very busy you know very very busy so to be within earshot and also he's very down to earth like guys i know i've put it in our reel and now it's really hard to breathe in this thing but um uh it's just i'm just so excited to talk to you man like um when i when uh philip kennedy johnson when we were in the line for new york comic con one of the guards was like all right we're done we're done no more And we're like, what the hell? Why? Because we did everything we needed to do.

We were in line and then they just cut us off.

We got into line.

It can be Image, DC, whatever.

For there to be another Midnight line about, who would you pick? You can pick any other comic book character.

Okay, I'm going to completely rip off Mark Guggenheim because we actually had an interview with him on this.

And I'm going to send you the interview and you can actually decide to cut it up where I'm speaking because I'm going to talk about what he talked about and you can decide what you want to do with it.

You know what it's called? The Rock Pirate of Kadeen, is it? Or Kaneen or something like that.

Look, I think it's Mark Guggenheim writing it.

So I'm very curious, because obviously I read this when this was coming out, and I'm very curious to see, hear what you have thought of the run as it's progressed.

And obviously now you have the changeover of the creators where Mark Guggenheim and Bob Gale left.

And they got in Mark Waid and Fred Van Lante and Joe Kelly.

So I'm just interested to hear from you how you think the book has changed or if you're still enjoying it or kind of just any thoughts.

Ethan Sachs, I think, is his name off the top of my head.

Mark Guggenheim as well.

So definitely a ton of folks down there.

If you are trying to get a comic signed or anything like that, or just talk to them, talk about artwork, anything like that, that's definitely the space for those types of things as well.

Maybe they're like, "Let's wait and see the reception of the movie, and then figure out if we're gonna move this date."

Also for Starfighter is a comic called The Rock Pirate of Keneen coming f- from Marc Guggenheim, and there were other, like, y- young reader, new reader books about this Rock Pirate.

I coulda listened to him the entire panel.

Yeah, he told a really sweet story about getting to go to the school that he went to, like the elementary school, and like the town that he grew up in, and talked to the kids there about reading, and it was really sweet.

And he talked about, this isn't new, but he talked about the Jar Jar, Kelleran be- comic, and like working with Marc Guggenheim on that.

But he wanted to show Jar Jar like reconciling the consequences of his actions and finding out that his words have power-

it's really exciting for me as the comic reader because, well, first of all, Mark Guggenheim is getting... is getting that comic to do and he's yeah it's funny apparently he'd even know it was getting announced that day somebody's like hey it's called the rock pirate
