Vijay DamojipurapuHostIt's very clear as someone listening to your story and someone who knows you for so many years now.
And something that actually stood out, and this is something that I've had this observation.
I constantly bring it up even with my customers and other folks I engage with on an ongoing basis is the concept of bow tie.
I mean, everyone knows the concept of funnel, right? The concept of bow tie is landing.
It's there, but not many... founders, CEOs, or operational leaders are prioritizing the second half of the bow tie.
And I asked the same question to a couple of other podcast guests early on, which is, why is there not enough emphasis, even though everyone knows the value of NRR and the value to the valuation of the company? Yeah.

yeah there's there's a definite gap between uh how much companies talk about that as a problem and where the dollars flow

and there's an opportunity and i that was another big reason for starting champion was you could see all these dollars being poured into the top of the funnel only to let it be leaking out the other side and the way that we think about it in my um My co-founders, Gianna, has this statement that I love, and it's not pipeline to build customers, it's customers to build pipeline.

And thinking about it from that lens, and everything stems off of your most successful, influential customers.

And they are happy, your NRR is strong, your GRR is strong, and we don't talk enough about GRR, I think, in a lot of cases, but your GRR is incredibly strong.

And then on top of that, that is naturally going to help you drive new business as well.

And then you can start to think about how to sort of pour more on the top of the funnel from there.

And that's a lot of our focus is getting companies to think, not only think more about it.

I think a lot of companies do think about it, but to really put in the investments.
