It feels like in Catholic circles, those who go to Latin masses are considered quote unquote, more Catholic, so to speak.

If God made our bodies and speaks to us through our bodies, shouldn't it be more helpful and useful to go to a Mass that we can understand using our sense of hearing? Or am I just not as far along in my faith life as those who appreciate Latin Mass?

I just have a certain tenderness towards your heart as I'm hearing your question.

And I want to disavow you right away of the idea that you are not Catholic enough.

Or if you were more Catholic or more advanced, that you would all of a sudden want to go to the Latin Mass.

But what I think is going on in a certain movement in the Church today, where larger and larger numbers seem to be drawn to the traditional rite, the Latin Mass, I think it's a response to what has been, for the last 55 or more years, a period of real liturgical chaos in the Church.

There was a promise of liturgical renewal coming to the Church at the Second Vatican Council.
