Prayer to the Father of Love | Matthew 6:5-13 | Sunday 20th September, 2026

But just to start, just to say we've got this week of prayer.

I just want to bring it before you, encourage you to consider coming with us, partnering with us in this week of prayer.

What we're going to be doing is for the next five evenings, we're going to be meeting together.

One evening is going to be on Zoom.

And I think we've got some of the details on the screen here.

Yeah.

So tonight, we're gathering together and we are going to be worshipping and praying and we're going to be bringing our country to God.

We'll be bringing this nation that we live in.

So much going on.

So much to pray for, isn't there? So much need in our nation.

And we're going to be bringing it to God in prayer.

And I just want to ask you to come and join us and fight and pray and bring it to God, bring our country to God.

There's so much we could be saying about that, but come along and find out, come along and pray.

Especially if you've never come before, just come along, just have a look, see what it's like.

We're going to be beginning with just a short video this evening, just some testimonies really or encouragements from what's happening in some churches in the Church of England.

Just to spur us on, really, there's stuff happening in this country that some of you don't hear about.

So we're just going to have a little video tonight, and then we're going to worship and pray, and we're going to pray for God's kingdom to come in our country.

That's tonight.

And then during the week, we've got these little meetings.

Some of them are just for an hour at the Life Centre.

One of them's on Zoom.

And we're going to be talking about and praying about all the things that we're doing as a church, all the things that we're partnering with.

We're thinking about relaunching that wonderful church in Bagshot.

We're going to be praying about that.

We're praying about our life groups, our ministries, our Alpha courses, all the things we're doing.
