S3:E27 - Marked by God with Jay Robinson

Ashley welcomed Jay Robinson (@1jayyrobinson on Instagram) to the Armed and Anointed podcast, where Jay shared his inspiring journey from a young music producer to finding his purpose in serving God. Jay described how he grew up in a Christian household but struggled with balancing his musical ambitions with his faith, particularly after receiving a promising opportunity from Def Jam at age 16 that his parents discouraged. He detailed a pivotal moment in July 2020 when he experienced a spiritual deliverance during a family intervention that led him to fully surrender his musical career to follow God's calling. The conversation explored themes of spiritual authority, generational faith, and the challenges of stepping away from a built life to follow God's purpose. Jay emphasized that while God's gifts are irrevocable, true fulfillment comes from using them in alignment with one's divine purpose rather than pursuing worldly success independently of God's will. **CONNECT WITH ME...** → Instagram - [@armedandanointed]() → Partner with me in Arbonne - [ashleyrussell.arbonne.com](ashleyrussell.arbonne.com) → Looking for faith based life and business coaching?
