You're here the longest, well, I think you're here the longest, but of, you know, in terms of putting down roots and what it means for your family going forward.

Does it make you, does it give you pause when you hear these proposed changes could just be done at the stroke of a pen?

Yes, like I would like to chip in, like, you know, the human cost and the human side of this thing is like, you know, we were earlier talking about training and our profession, but like the family side of it and the human side of it is, I have numerous personal examples, like, you know, because of the delayed reunification and the very inhumanely prolonged, like, you know, Family reunification times, like, you know, I've seen that people, families have, you know, I've practically seen, like, females, some people, families have been, like, you know, broken as a result of that.

Like, you know, people have had divorces because of that.

Like, you know, and there are a lot of, like, nurses, Indian nurses and many of our international colleagues that I see that, you know, their little babies, like, you know, had to wait, like, for two to three years, you know, to reunite with them.

Um, I'm a dad of an 11 year old daughter.

I And I leaned over to our family coach who was embracing Romina by this point and just said, hey, is everything okay? Is there anything we can help with? And she looked at me, she said, no, Romina is overwhelmed with emotion that someone would think of her to provide her these new shoes.

And, man, I can't think of the last time I've cried when I received a simple gift or how many of us can.

But that moment really kind of pulled me back toward what we do and why we do it.

One of the best parts of the story, though, is that over time that that engagement through those shoes gave her family the opportunity to.

And they embrace that support.

And that she's- She's a girl who moves toward other children who are feeling left out or feeling like they're on the fringes and ensuring that they feel included.
