Authority to Forgive

Anyway, one of the things that was just, I thought, like, there are so many good nuggets, you know, but one of the nuggets that he framed was, hey, the law is like a mirror in And that it can show you your face is dirty, but it has no power to clean it.

And I was like, gosh, that's a real helpful way to see it.

That

is good.

Yeah.

I really loved this very like Christological message.

And the various ways that he applied it very practically.

Sometimes it can be, yeah, like Jesus's divinity is a thing that we confess.

Obviously it's a thing we believe, but what difference does it make for me and my walk with the Lord that he is, is the exact imprint of God's nature, for example.

So I, I love the whole thing, but yeah, that is good.

That is good about the law.

You're going to steal that because I would like to steal that too.

We'll both steal it.

We'll have a contest.

We'll just say as we always say.

You can say as I heard Pastor Doug say before.

It's said from this stage all the time.

Yeah, yeah.

I think legally it's Emergence's property now anyway.

There you go.

That's right.

We

should sue him.

Yeah, yeah.

How about you, Doug? Any nuggets, John? I hate to put you on the spot just like that because I know you're thinking Sunday, but anything you took home of just like, man, that was clarifying or just helpful.
