In this episode of the Almost Creative Podcast, Travis sits down with Donald Keith Reid, founder of See Visions Global, to talk about branding, marketing, organic client acquisition, and building a…
I think it's really interesting what you said there too, 'cause you essentially had a lot of these hobbies and talents and things you like doing, and when you try to explain that to someone, it can be kind of overwhelming or they're like, "Okay, so this guy isn't a master at anything," 'cause it's like he's doing all this stuff.
Like, what is he actually, you know, good at or what his route?
And you kind of found a way to take all the things you enjoyed and brought that into a business and kind of got it more focused on what is this, which, you know, the way you kind of put it is marketing.
So, um, tell me a little bit more, um, for those who don't know, like what is C Visions Global and what is it that you guys specialize in now?
Well, C Visions Global, uh, C Visions Global has matured into a strategic branding corporation.
So branding is the beginning of any type of business that you want to create or h- is created, right? That spans into the marketing sector as well.
And what we mainly do is, or the space that we're, we are mainly in, is organic client acquisition.
So we help businesses gain new clients, especially when they've hit their growth ceiling.
So when you speak of a growth ceiling, you know, we all have done some s- some sort of exercise at some point in time and, you know, we do the same thing and we're doing great and we're losing weight or whatever goal that we have, and all of a sudden everything stops, nothing changes.
Yeah.
What we do is we strategically come in, or we come in and strategically help you figure out a way or w- from what you're doing, pivot to a new era of business, where whether it be a restructuring of your brand, um, a rebranding, uh, and then come in and help you build a new way of growth.
One of the biggest things, uh, differences of us, between us and the others, is we show you how to do it organically.
The last thing that I wanna do is, or that we want to do is come in and say, "Hey, give us some money to spend so we can, you know, shoot out ads." Well, that's a way to do it, but we found a strategic way to bring in new clients without that.
Yeah.
That's great.
You know, something you said it's got me thinking.
I, I think especially as like creative entrepreneurs, like we come from a background typically where we're doing something we like doing and then people all of a sudden start paying us money for it.
They're like, "Oh, here's 100 bucks to shoot a music video." And you're like, "Oh my gosh, 100 bucks to shoot a music video.
This is amazing." Little do you know you're probably making like $2 an hour.
But, you know, it, it's awesome because it's something you enjoy doing and now all of a sudden you're getting monetary value out of it.
