Love of the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم || Sh. Safwan Dadoun

Every believer, male and female, young and old, if he were to be asked or she were to be asked, do you love the Prophet ﷺ? The answer unanimously would be, certainly, of course.

Of course I do.

And this is from the greatness of this religion, is that no person followed is loved like the people that follow Muhammad love Muhammad.

But then there's a question that we must ask.

What does that love look like? Because love has consequences.

Love has consequences.

It changes the way you live.

It changes what you follow.

It changes how you think.

It changes what you accept and what you reject.

Allah Azza wa Jal, He says in the Quran, وَالْإِن كُنْتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهُ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرُ ذُنُوبَكُمْ The condition of love for Allah عز و جل, for the religion of Allah عز و جل, for the Prophet of Allah عز و جل محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم is in this verse.

فَاتَّبِعُونِ Follow me.

The proof of love is following.

following the Prophet in everything he came with.

Because one can claim whatever he wants when he comes to the love of Allah, to the love of the religion of Allah, to the love of the Prophet Muhammad .

But when the command of the Prophet comes against your desire, Against your habits or your culture.

Or what you personally prefer.

Your personal preference.

This is where the love is tested.

What do you choose? Do you choose your culture? Or the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ? Do you choose your desire? Or the religion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ? Do you choose your...

inner needs and wants or the way of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

The more complete this concept is, the more complete your iman is.

As the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, he said, That none of you truly believes Until I am more beloved to him than his father and his child and all of mankind.
