Above The Rabbit Hole EP: 153 - Remembering 9/11 - 25 Years Later

all right now uh as i was saying this whole journey has been absolutely insane that we've been on that it is it i can't really describe it to people and i know most of you understand that and you know it um however It's so weird for me because 25 years ago, my eyes opened wider.

They were always open, but they opened wider.

And I felt attacked by a Muslim religion that hated Israel and and wanted to kill America.

Okay? Everything I heard was that.

And I thought to myself, yeah, F those people.

Yeah, well, they created the boogeyman for us.

It was

Osama bin Laden.

And we were all like, yes, let's go get him.

Let's go to war.

Now, I will say this.

I did have the state of mind at that time to realize that the Islamic faith and its entirety was not to blame.

That it was a section of that, that I believe then controlled it, had all the money from oil, And that's how they, from Saudi Arabia, and that's how they were able to finance all this craziness.

And I did think at the time maybe another country or two was helping this, whether it was China or Russia.

That's what they wanted you to think.

That was the whole point of this whole thing.

That is what I'm saying.

I was that guy.

Right.

Yeah, I think we all most of us were.

No, there was a lot of F all Muslims.

Anybody from the Middle East can kiss my ass.

It went and a lot of people went straight to racism quick.

I want to be real about things.

They did.
