Donald Trump is not helping the republicans right now at all. As a matter of fact, he's hurting them even worse than they've hurt themselves. Even corporate media is reporting this week that…
So the takeaway after a couple hours, I think they're in recess or maybe he's done testifying.
The takeaway after a couple hours is that Donald Trump, definitely there is overwhelming evidence, two grand juries decided that Donald Trump committed major crimes against this country.
Now, there's a hilarious-- I'm not gonna play you the clips because they're too long, but there's a hilarious back and forth going on with Senator Eric Schmitt, who by the way, J.D. Vance was thinking of making his running mate in the twenty twenty-eight presidential election.
He's doing this whole, you know, "Where were you on February third, twenty twenty-four? Were you at an NBA basketball game?" And Jack Smith just looks confused like, "Uh, no, I don't, I don't recall." He's-- 'cause he said, "The Hawks.
Were you at a Hawks basketball game?" And Jack Smith's like, "I don't think so.
And he's like, "No, I've..." "Have you ever been to Atlanta during your tenure?" Uh, and he's like, "No, I've never.
I might have gone through the airport on my way to Florida, but I've never spent time in Atlanta." "Did you meet with Fani Willis?" "Uh, no." And he's like, "Okay, so I know you're lying.
You probably don't know we have these." And he puts up a picture of some texts, apparently of a couple of staffers on Jack Smith's staff, his team, and then very quickly takes it down.
Jack Smith kinda glances and he goes, he goes, "Did-- Is this, you know..." And he goes, "Uh, I don't know.
Blah, blah, blah, blah." So Jack Smith is like, "Okay." Uh, some other people are like, "Well, could we see it? We didn't even get to see it." "No, no, this is my time.
This is my..." So you can tell now, why is Eric Schmitt all of a sudden looking like he's panicking? And then later on, Amy Klobuchar chimes in at the beginning of her session to speak, and she says, um, "Say, were you at a different game on-- in, in February?" And he goes, "Yeah, actually, I was at a game in Maryland where I wanted to see, uh, this person, uh, who's on, uh, I think a woman's Wisconsin or yeah, yeah, I don't know, Iowa team." I don't know anything about sports, as you can tell.
