Y’all… what are we supposed to do with these stories?! This week we’ve got a woman in a closet who absolutely does not belong there, a grocery store encounter that has us screaming RED FLAG, a haunted…
The first one, Sinister Sightings, Lady in the Closet.
Hello, ladies.
You can use my name.
I've been a listener since 2020 lockdown, and I'm a big fan.
Thank you.
I've been meaning to write in for a while, but my story is a multi part and spans over 20 years.
So I've been trying to figure out where to start.
I think chronologically is probably best.
One of my strongest early memories is when I was around five or six years old.
I shared a bedroom with my little sister, Sarah, who is three years younger than me.
We had a pair of twin beds with our heads on the window wall and the feet of the bed facing towards the closet.
I remember waking up in the middle of the night and there was something in my open closet.
She looked just like my mom.
I'm not sure why that stood out to me so much, but it did.
In my young, likely feverish, half-asleep haze, I was definitely confused, and then she spoke to me.
"'Go to sleep, Melissa.' When I recount this, it is a wavy ghost-like voice, but I think it was just different from my mom's voice, so I knew it wasn't her, and I jumped up and ran to my parents' bedroom.
This incident left a serious impression on me.
For years into my adult life, I would not go to sleep with the closet door open for fear someone would be in there.
This lasted through different homes and different bedrooms.
I would always make sure it was closed before I got into bed.
When I was young, my best friend's name was Katie.
We were inseparable in elementary school, but started growing apart around early high school.
We didn't really talk at all by the time we graduated.
