So World B, the Detroit Pistons, took another giant step forward last year, finishing the regular season with 60 wins.

Their 60-22 record was the best in the East and also the third best in the entire league last year.

But despite their conference-leading record, Detroit failed to earn a trip to the Eastern Conference Finals, falling one game shy of that after losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 7 during the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

In the wide open Eastern Conference, they have as much much of a claim to be on top as anybody, you know, before the season begins, we're talking about one of the best defensive teams in the league.

So there's no reason to, you know, expectations will still be high for this team, but you, you got to wonder at this point, did the rest of the East or many in the East kind of pass them up in terms of what they did in the off season, this season, You've got to look at the Pistons on paper and wonder just how much help Cade Cunningham has on that roster right now.

He does so much, and that's why he's an MVP candidate the last couple of years.

But the Pistons, to me, seem to be just like the Cleveland Cavaliers are in that mix in terms of expectations.

much improved to be one of the best teams in the regular season you guys start making a playoff push right now and we're we criticize the cleveland cavaliers for this uh not being able you know they made the east finals this past season which is a step in the right direction but they still haven't been back to the final they've never been to the finals in a non-lebron uh season so We're starting to feel that way, or we should feel that way about the Pistons.

60 wins is great, but if you can't make it to the East Finals, if you can't make it to the NBA Finals, especially in a wide open Eastern Conference, we're going to start wondering what the future is
