So it gives them just enough that they can spend on the 15th roster and not go.

All right, is Kris Murray getting waived? So Memphis in a spot where they've gotta waive four players.

I, I think the only one that we can say for sure is D'Angelo Russell, I, I have to think was pretty high probability to get waived.

There's some other guys that, that could be in the mix there.

But, um, does Kris Murray survive in Memphis?

Yes, I think Kris Murray will get waived.

I think the two locks for waivers for the Grizzlies, who have to waive four players, or trade them away, to, to be clear, they're not just necessarily necessarily have to waive them, uh, are Kris Murray and D'Angelo Russell.

I've seen a bunch of people, they're spamming these podcasts and videos trying to force Heat content about D'Angelo Russell and Cam Thomas and, oh, Walter Clayton Jr. Oh, the Heat need to get Walter Clayton Jr.

And I'm just like, I don't feel like talking about that right now because I got Kane's football on my mind.

and maybe Miami Dolphins as well.

Basically, the Jake Fisher report is, like, saying that the Grizzlies are planning to waive a bunch of guys.

I think the names were Jordan Hawkins, D'Angelo Russell.

And the interesting names, Chris Murray and Walter Clayton Jr. are going to get waived just so they can get down to 15 players.

And...

That's, like, the main thing.

But everything else has been kind of, like...

I feel like Scott Perry still has a bit of an antiquated approach to... to nba basketball and like he still needs to kind of like adapt to kind of the new and the new style of analytics driven basketball and just like that and just like that style to get like to better find these diamonds in the rough and like i feel chris murray could be one of those diamonds in the rough and if they can get walter clayton jr i'm not particularly interested in uh um jordan hawkins or d'angelo russell but like these are the two names i'll be very very interested in And then the last basketball thing I want to just quickly talk about.

It came out today that basically the Clippers, fresh off of all the punishments and all the bad press, is going to give Bradley Beal the number three.

I had mentioned how I thought Walter Clayton Jr. and Jordan Hawkins would, I think, be solid options to scoop up in a scenario where they were waived.

But Ira Winderman, had some interesting comments about the third guy we had talked about in yesterday's episode, that being D'Angelo Russell.

He also talked about my buddy, or I might be biased, my favorite veteran point guard option that Miami could look at, I guess prior to this noise surrounding Russell, or the rumors surrounding Russell, Gabe Vincent as well, saying...

Vincent remains available for a reunion, and there could be something to be said about a non-guaranteed camp invite, if he were to be amendable.

A Grizzlies buyout of D'Angelo Russell could also open the door for veteran depth at the position.

This nugget right here from Ira continues the dialogue I had in yesterday's episode so swimmingly, I said that if the Heat were not intrigued in bringing back Gabe, in what world would they even want Russell? Piggybacking off what Fisher said earlier this week, I don't think D'Angelo Russell is long for the Grizzlies world.

And adding that next to what Ira said, I think it's extremely likely that Russell is one of the four guys that Memphis cuts because they do have to cut four guys before the regular season starts.

Memphis is also looking like they're only trying to get younger right now too.
