Stephen and Travis take some time to reflect on the high octane season that just ended. They watched a lot of movies, and they all had different strengths and weakness. It was quite the journey and it…

We picked... karate kung fu action movies that kind of encompassed a whole lot of different things we all we picked multiple performers to go over throughout this this series and there were a lot that i didn't know you were much more well versed in the kung fu movie universe than i was i had your your top ones you know i had your jackie chan's and your jet lee's and stuff But there were some shocking things that I learned and folks that I was actually blown away by.
Because I think we talked about this a little bit when we were doing this is that we picked legends.
And I think some of the ones, some of the movies that I enjoyed the most or maybe enjoyed the performer in, the most uh donnie yen's kill zone still stands out to me as one of the most intense performances that we watched that i i was not expecting right like i didn't have anything yeah
yeah that is the word for for that movie and because donnie yen is one of I've always loved Donnie Yen.
Donnie Yen has a charisma about him that is different from Jackie Chan and Jet Li and even Bruce Lee.
He's closer to Bruce Lee, I think, than anyone else in that... cool factor right yeah he is the Fonz type cool right like leather jacket you know cigarette hanging out of his mouth type of cool like that that level or that brand of just like you see that dude on the street and you're just like that guy's cool I want to I want to I want to be friends with him because he's just just cooler than the other side of the pillow
Plus, I mean, that final fight with his sparring partner in the alleyway, the knife and all of that was just
That was exactly the scenes that flashed through my head when I was trying to think of, you know, And the funny thing
about it is that's not even the climactic fight of the movie, right? The movie had another fight after that with him and legend in Hong Kong cinema, Sammo Hung.
yet the one that you remember is the one before that.
