And the other revelation that I had in watching all those Jackie Chan films is I think I like Sammo hung a little better.

So Sammo hung is like fat Jackie Chan and he is awesome.

And you've got to check out.

He had, he had a few films and he's like, he's like, Yeah, his films are a little bit cooler than Jackie Chan's films in a way because, you know, there's there's a craft to what he's doing in terms of like the genre.

And oh, and the other one, Heart of Dragon, just because it's so fun.

Jackie Chan's in it as well.

But it's a Sammo Hung film and it's Rain Man with Kung Fu.

It's not K1 Williams-like, like 2020-19, but Stout is just a fantastic tackler, fantastic blitzer, and they deploy him at the right times and the right places in San Francisco without Mikel and Collins.

and Sammo and still having to get Romero high up to speed and Halton in his rookie season as a fourth-round draft pick, they had to manufacture pressure.

They were running five defensive linemen at times, giving the Rams a ton of different looks.

They were blitzing cornerbacks.

John Ford is my number three director in terms of total count scenes, like 20-something.

Um, only, only edged out by Sammo Hung and, uh, Chang Che because I've seen so many Hong Kong movies.

Um, but not ever hearing about it and John Ford being one of my favorite directors, it's like, oh, okay, that's, this must be obscure.

And I was just looking up, um, there is a DVD from 2006 with this film, but actually September 22nd this year, Warner archive is releasing this on Blu-ray, which is just a timely random that we're doing this and then it's going to come out.

Sammo broke his foot and is out for at least most of the season.

But what they do on the ground is what makes the Rams a complete team.

Our guy Sammo did not make the trip to Australia.

They placed him on the injured reserve, and they signed Khalid Kareem from the Falcons practice squad.

He's a defensive lineman.

Yeah.

And then they, I'm a huge Sammo Hung fan.

Cause I'm a big martial art movie fan, Hong Kong movie fan.

And he was in martial law this year.

And Sammo Hung is a very well-respected Hong Kong director, martial artist.

They say best newcomer, but they say as if Bruce Lee's DNA had merged with the Pillsbury Doughboy.

Portly martial arts whiz Sammo Hung emerged on CBS's Martial Law as Fall's least likely and most engaging action hero, now promisingly partnered with Arsenio Hall.

That's so mean.

He's like the guy following the Dowager Empress in that film.

My favorite performance of his is in the movie Pedicab Driver alongside Sammo Hung.

arguably the last great Hong Kong movie from Samoa Hong, Hongambo.

And I think he has this wonderful shop-worn face, very expressive, almost like a Japanese actor.

His name is not Tommy Kwong.

Tommy Wong is in films like The Killer for John Woo and in Touch and Go, which is a movie that Ringo Lam directed.

And Tommy Wong would later be launched, not to great success as a comedic actor, in Justice My Fool, in which he kind of took over a role that had been created by Stephen Chow.
