Short Version: The Browns Are SO Back

Uh, Heading into tonight, this was the Cleveland Browns' lone primetime appearance.

Every other game on the schedule set for Sunday at 1 o'clock.

Somewhere it feels like they've been for years, and that's not completely true.

But to these second-year guys, they didn't get to play on Thursday last year.

They didn't play at night at all.

They played a Europe game, but I don't think they played at night at all.

They played a couple 425ers.

But anyway, they won that game tonight.

they needed all three phases to do it.

They, they needed coaching and they needed bounces and they needed poise and, and resilience.

And they've had that.

And this is a legit win streak.

Um, And look, I said this before the game in conversations with people in the press box.

I said it on the phone today to somebody I was talking to.

I just, flipping the radio, driving home, heard it say, like, reality, how good is this team, whatever.

Reality's coming.

It comes for everyone.

And there will be teams that expose the Browns' warts and the Browns' overall lack of roster depth, sure.

But the reality is this team has won three games in three different fashions by showing common traits.

It has won three games with the quarterback, far from perfect, but certainly improving, delivering in the fourth quarter.

I don't have the number right now, but I know he came in, Deshaun Watson came into the game with the highest fourth quarter passer rating in the league.

He probably doesn't anymore, at least when these other games are played.

But he's won three straight.

And what I would say about tonight is they did it with coaching.

They finally ran the ball.
