Avengers: Endgame returned to theaters this weekend with its encore re-release, bringing in an estimated twenty-six million dollars domestically.
That was enough to take the number one spot and push the film's domestic total past eight hundred and eighty-four million dollars.
Coming in at number two is Zack Cregger's Resident Evil, which brought in twenty-three point three million dollars in its second weekend.
That brings its domestic total to just over a hundred and three million dollars.
In third, Heart of the Beast opened with twenty million dollars in its first weekend in theaters.
Right behind it is A twenty-four's Prime Time, which debuted in fourth place with nineteen point two million dollars.
The film follows Robert Patterson's Chris Hansen as he works to turn To Catch a Predator into a television phenomenon while exploring the people and media machine behind the show.
And rounding out the top five is DreamWorks' Forgotten Island, opening to twelve point eight million dollars domestically.
Five movies, nearly a hundred and two million dollars, and apparently, the Avengers still know how to make an entrance.
