Manga News! New Bleach???

The One Piece?

Yeah, we can start with that.

I think it recently got announced for February 2027.

I'm excited, but...

So wait, it's just going to be shorter, it cuts out a lot of...

Basically, from what I understand, it's Romance Dawn, which is, I think, first 100 episodes? Yeah, something like that.

And I think cut down into maybe 20.

Okay.

Maybe 15.

I think that's the idea of it.

It's studio wit, right? So, yeah.

I mean, I'm excited just because a lot of the people, whenever I tell them, oh, watch One Piece, read One Piece, they always say it's too long.

And I understand it's daunting, so maybe this could bring some people in, some Netflix also.

So, yeah.

But, like, my question is, in a way, because one of the best things about early One Piece...

Is how funny it is.

Yeah.

Will they cut that out in a way? Because a lot of it kind of came in filler moments.

I actually agree.

And for me, that's actually one of the reasons why I liked pre-timeskip a lot.

Because they dedicate so much episodes to the random stuff.

Like you say, that's where a lot of the comedy comes in.

And then even the development of certain backstories.

So I guess there will be some of that that's lost.

But...
