First, I'll tell you the first things that I thought turned out to be wrong, because I think they're interesting lessons and maybe obvious in retrospect.

But these are all things that we had to learn and are still learning in many cases, which is an AI is not a replacement for a human.

And in fact, when you think about it that way, you're just going to build a bad product and build a bad experience for a user.


The mission of BetterUp is to help people everywhere lead their lives with greater clarity, purpose, and passion.

And human coaching is just a really phenomenal way to achieve that, but it's limited in scale.


And I think that's the key thing is that delivering it in a way that is optimized for the medium.
