Auditions!!!

Well, that brings us to the topic of today's situation.

And I wanted to talk about auditions, specifically mishaps, but auditions as a whole, both, all three of us have been in both in front of the table and behind the table.

And here's my take on auditions just across the board.

I think ultimately the two rounds to me, the first round as a director and as an actor meant only getting to the second round.

Yes.

I only bring that up because some people obsess over their book and what they're wearing and how they show up and they obsess over it.

And some people are like, I'm never going to wear, I can't wear the same audition clothes again.

I can't.

And that to me is a little bit crazy because it's such a small thing.

part of what we do.

Yeah, I think until you sit on to your point, if you sit on the other side of the table and you you realize how I mean, I don't want to minimize it, but how little that first day means.

I mean, you're really kind of just seeing everybody sizing them up and seeing who fits in the big puzzle.

They're just a bunch of puzzle pieces.

And then when you call them back, you're like, okay, where do these puzzle pieces fit? But that first day you're just showing up.

You want to be prepared.

You want to be positive.

You want to be happy energy in the room and not that like neurotic, sad, cranky.

I've been waiting for 20 hours.

You know, you just want to be there and show up.

Right.

But yeah, so.

Because I think the, I think the roles won in the second, the callback.

I think that's when you win the role.

So it's just interesting.

I don't know.
