Looking for destinations in Europe that deserve more love? In this episode, I'm sharing 12 places across Europe that I think deserve a spot on more travelers' wish lists. These aren't unknown…
This episode, if you saw the title, is 12 Destinations in Europe That Deserve More Love.
And these are places that... [sighs] You know, no place is really unknown, so, so you can't say they're unknown places because, you know, that just doesn't exist in today's world of Google Maps and being able to find anything.
I, I guess what I would say is they don't, they're not the, they, they're not top of mind.
So when I say maybe a certain country or a certain region, these are places that maybe aren't the first ones at the top of the list.
It's not like they're not on the list at all, but they just might be further down.
So they're places that are a little bit off the main tourist track, but not completely.
Some of them, you know, are m- a little bit more off the tourist track than others, and they're all places that I've personally visited at least once.
Some of them I've been to maybe more than once, and they're places that I wanna share with you.
And what I would say is that there's also a varying degree of how adventurous are you with these, and I'm gonna...
I, I think what I want to do is also say this is for you if you just want to be a little adventurous or if you wanna be somewhat adventurous or if you want to be very adventurous.
I'll kind of give you maybe those three levels, because I feel like they, they fall into that, that some of them are maybe just a little harder to get to or require, uh, m- maybe more time, more patience.
If you are driving, which some of these places you would n- need a car, like the place that I am [chuckles] right now is on the list.
Which is why I wanted to wait to, to record it until I was here for a second time so I could better talk about it.
But places like where I am now just require a lot of patience because the roads are smaller and it just takes longer to get from point A to point B.
It was, it was one that I had to really think about as I was putting it together.
Some of them are gonna be places you've heard of, and some of them maybe are going to be some places that you're not as familiar with.
I will be honest, it's probably a little British Isles heavy, uh, between Ireland and the UK, but there are other places as well down in Europe that I think you will like to hear about.
And I will say that most of these places I have probably a standalone podcast, maybe even a blog post, where you can dig a little bit deeper.
