So then I just kind of had an idea of, well, what else do I enjoy about being outside? And the navigation side of it came to the front of my mind.

I've taught... thousands of young people doing that um but again wanting to be as qualified as i possibly could that then led me down to sort of the national navigation awards scheme side of things um so i offer that as one of my courses i also just do a one day course for those that don't require a two day or want a formal qualification and then the nas stuff um on top of it and Yeah, I found their syllabus to be really, really good.

I found all their sort of instructions and what to teach at certain different levels.

And how's that been going so far? It's good.

So, um, like I say, not everybody wants to have that formal qualification or needs it for work or anything.

Um, but certainly those that have done the two day course passing, I love the two day courses because sometimes to teach a complete beginner, um, The basics of map and compass in just six hours can be quite
quick.

Normally have a couple of hours in the cafe first and then we go on out to the hills.
Yeah.

And I always say to people on the course, we want to be trying to make mistakes.

Because I feel people learn a lot more if they can make a mistake and then learn from that mistake.
