I'm delighted to say that we've been joined by Phil Oliver, the CEO of the Desert Vipers, and Tom Moody, the director of cricket.
Gentlemen, what are your emotions after the, uh, auction? Relief, pleasure, satisfaction, a mix of all of those things?
You go into an auction like this, and you have a certain plan and strategy that you try to, try to stick to, and I think we've done that pretty well.
And yeah, crossed off the checklist as we've gone, whilst being compliant with the regulations that are in place with the league's perspective.
So overall, very, very happy and excited, I think, to get everyone together, 'cause we've got a good group of players.
Yeah, look, for, for me, uh, the, the standout was the familiarity, trying to get, um, you know, something r- reflects the Desert Vipers and, and its history.
Uh, and I think we've, uh, achieved that to a certain extent, um, you know, which is important to us.
Um, again, there's familiar faces, but there's some exceptionally skilled cricketers, um, amongst our group.
So, uh, we're very excited to, to get the season started and get working with these players.
