Your Reliance

I mean, as this tournament is happening, we can be praying for different players.

Christian Eriksson had an episode cardiac arrest in 2021.

Now he's an established professional player playing at the top levels in England with Spurs, Manchester United.

He played in Italy.

He plays for Denmark in their national team.

But in 2021, when his heart stopped and the first responders rushed in, the world watched.

His teammates were stunned.

It was crushing.

I mean, there it is.

He's dying on the pitch.

They performed CPR, and then God restored him.

There was a question, would he play again? But he did, with courage.

He returned to the sport he loved.

And he continued to play for years until just right now.

Another episode, cardiac arrest.

In 2026, he's 34 years old.

And now what's going to happen to him going forward in terms of his health, in terms of his soccer career? What is God teaching him? And how will he respond? Just for clarity, I don't know Christian Erickson and I don't know anything about his faith, but his story resonated with me.
