When you hear people talk about ADHD, is there something that you keep hearing is quite wrong?

ADHD naturally can intensify a lot of the symptoms of complex trauma for example you feel more emotional intensity from time to time and your attention can hyperfixate on that



Because now you're taking this medication, you're wondering, well, what's wrong with me? Why isn't it working? But I don't think that's it.

I think that with ADHD, you get such firm corrective experiences in childhood.

So when you feel that something is interesting to you and there's chemistry, the bigger your investment becomes, the more your impulsivity grows.

It makes it so that you can fall in love far too quickly sometimes, so that you are someone who experiences far more limerence, far more impulsive urges to connect with someone, And so in other words, you are going to be re-traumatized by rejection because this often can be so off-putting that the other person needs to walk away.
