I think that's a huge perspective shift because like most of our audience, most of our listeners are business owners or entrepreneurs.

And there is this way that we've been brought up to go for the goal and hustle harder and Certainly for me, I watched my dad out of the house at all hours of the day, working so hard to buy the cars, to provide for his family.

And the shadow side of that is you grow up having this element of needing to be validated or prove yourself all of the time or like, what is it that's next? Or when is it ever going to be good enough? And it's literally a trap.

And I think our generation are really feeling the cost of that trap through burnout, through mental health and I feel like conversations like this we have a real opportunity to just show people that there is a different way.

And I feel like your experience, I mean, like you're such a dude, like you're a big guy and you're here and you're in touch with your emotions.

And I feel like it's such a important time for people because people look up to you, Sam, like, You're an amazing guy, like you're so well thought of.

So people are looking at you and there might be someone even listening to this show who has had a dark time or is in a dark moment right now.

So I just want to thank you for being so honest and vulnerable because I actually think that that is such a strength.

Now, tell me, like, how did you, how have you used that pain that you felt during that time?

But I feel like on my journey through life for these 47 years I've been here, in these last few years and really, I guess, I released the 100th episode of the podcast in February of last year.

And putting that together, I shared publicly my experience my story really openly and vulnerably.
