And that was that Breaking Bad star, RJ Middy, ...has passed away at age just 34... ...only two days after celebrating his fiancé's birthday.

The actor was best known for playing Walter White Jr... ...also known as Flynn in the hit series Breaking Bad... ...and he did pass away on Monday October 12th in Brownsville, Texas.

TMZ is reporting his death as an apparent suicide... ...although his representatives have not publicly confirmed the cause of death...

He was engaged to his long-term partner, Kennedy, who celebrated her 31st birthday on Saturday.

The couple had been friends for more than a decade before their relationship turned romantic.

RJ had cerebral palsy, the same condition as his Breaking Bad character, and he appeared in 56 episodes of the series alongside Bryan Cranston between 2008 and 2013.

He went on to become a prominent disability rights activist and appeared in shows including Switched at Birth.

And just a week before his death, he did appear on a podcast reflecting on how he landed his Breaking Bad role after a six month audition process.

I ended up doing a bit of a deep dive into RJ Mitty's life and it's actually incredibly sad.

And what I guess was the sad part about this was... ...his mother was in a car accident and she become disabled.

So essentially R.J. Mitty was the sole breadwinner for the family... ...supporting his mother and his sister...

And he was outspoken about being an actor with a disability and how that was sometimes really challenging for him.

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, a.k.a. Jesse Pinkman and Walter White, were coming to Australia at the end of the year to talk about Breaking Bad.

And we don't know the backstory, but the fact that, you know, he obviously did have that financial strain.

He spoke about how he didn't actually walk away from Breaking Bad with a lot of money because he ended up paying a lot in taxes.
