Let's just say it was, um, is it Trust? Let's just say it's someone like Tobey Maguire and Downey, right? I don't think that was it, but I was, we were talking about like Tobey Maguire and Hugh Jackman, how I'd want them to have a lot of time, and think I mentioned one, and then Mike was like, "Well, I don't think that's, that combination's really, like, gonna get much play." And it's a question of, okay, in Infinity War and Endgame, you had these combos, right? Like Thor with the Guardians-

Mm-hmm, okay

... and like, um, like who, who's like another one?

We get a split down their face where one side is the hidden identity in the mask and the other side is the character that we all know.

And we recognize- Tobey Maguire.

Tobey Maguire.

We got him.

Yeah, you wouldn't think Tobey Maguire was the actor playing Carlos, but yeah, that's who we

cast.

He'd probably be more inclined to cast the actor who played Dr. Octopus, but yes.

I wish it were Melina.

And then that just is like continuing.

I keep seeing theories about the Spider-Man like the most recent one saying that like I think I said this in the last episode about like the reason why he has natural webs is because his universe is combining with Tobey Maguire's universe.

It's so crazy.

And so I

But yeah, it, it was the stuff of dreams.

Homecoming is really delightful.

I think it's mired by a lot of kind of Avengers-itis, which is something that the early Tobey Maguire Spider-Mans did not have to carry, right? They didn't have to carry the Marvel Cinematic Universe on their shoulders.

And it's really, really odd watching these Spider-Man movies with my youngest child who hasn't watched the Avengers movies or the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

So watching Spider-Man, the first one, yeah, it's pretty easy.

But yes, I am scared to watch Spider-Man 2.

I'm scared to watch the Andrew Garfield movies, even the Tobey Maguire trilogy as a whole.

I've seen a lot of clips from the Andrew Garfield ever since Spider-Man 3 came out for the MCU.

And he's my favorite superhero.

I mean, since the first movie I saw, the Tobey Maguire 2001, 2002 movie, I've been absolutely hooked on Spider-Man.

Dressed up as Halloween characters, bought a suit at 13.

I was looking at suits after I saw the brand new day movie that just came out two weeks ago.

But to the masses, that is Spider-Man.

But guess what? So was Tobey Maguire for a generation.

So was Andrew Garfield for a generation.

And now Tom Holland.
