So, I, like David, have the responsibility of identifying speakers and topics, in my case, specifically for the practice management content at the AVMA.
David does it for the big conference in Orlando, the conference formerly known as PRINCE and AVC, now known as VMX.
And I was looking at the 60 or so hours that we had.
And trying to look at the rooms.
Who was there? The topics.
And there seemed to be.
A trend.
To those speakers and topics.
That were on the technology slash.
And whether it had to do with marketing, whether it had to do with communication with clients.
On technology and.
The utilization in practice from a survey that they did.
And I think what we're dealing with in many ways.
is another bright, shiny object, a squirrel for the veterinarians known as golden retrievers to chase with fear on one hand, anticipation on the other, and total lack of understanding.
It kind of does, actually.
But
I think that's true.
I think we started as a part of the valuation process.
And as we go through the data, we have a long interview that we do on operations, workflow, team utilization, things that are not necessarily on the tax return.
But we added to that, are you using AI? If so, how? and we're seeing that most are not if they are it's kind of medical record dictation but i think some are using it a little bit in the marketing component of it but it's not widespread not yet but it certainly i think shiny object gaining momentum for sure
well widespread how right like I've been doing a lot of deep diving into AI to understand it because I feel like it's probably here to stay.
Um, and I feel like before I make judgments, you know, I need to spend time on it just so I understand it better versus just spouting off and saying whatever, you know, so I, this is sort of, this is my opinion.
